So, it’s not every day you go to work and expect to look up from behind the counter to see Elaine Davidson walking around your studio is it ?????  Well, that’s exactly what happened to us yesterday, so you can imagine how surprised we were to see her – in our studio – I know !!!!!!

Elaine was totally enchanting and happily agreed to have her photograph taken with us – what a buzz !!

She told us that she doesn’t usually go into tattoo studios but as they were passing ours (herself and her companion),  the vast amounts of jewellery in our lit up windows looked lovely and so she felt she had to come in – how lucky are we?

She told us that she currently has 5,955 body piercings !!  Amazing !! – I felt a little naked with my 35 – 40, but hey ho – I’m very happy with my lot !

Elaine was very complimentary about our studio, our own piercings and tattoos and it was an absolute delight to speak with her. Her companion was equally as charming and was kind enough to take the piccies for us.

Elaine is in the Guinness Book Of World Records for having the most body piercings in the world and has appeared at many shows and events. She also appears on tv regularly and has had many magazine articles written about her.

I feel very privileged to have met Elaine. She is a very inspiring lady, so genuine and friendly – an absolute delight.

I hope one day we shall meet again – and I’ll even put the kettle on next time
